Broadband internet & WiFi repair in Paris
No internet or broken WiFi in Paris? SOS Connexion is an independent, paid service that comes to your home to repair your internet box, WiFi and fibre connection in Paris and the inner suburbs (92, 93 and 94). We are not Orange, SFR, Free or Bouygues. If we do not fix it, you do not pay.
Are we your internet provider? No, we repair it at your home
In France, internet comes from a provider (the French word is opérateur), such as Orange, SFR, Free or Bouygues Telecom. The provider gives you a box: the device at home that brings internet and WiFi into your flat or house.
SOS Connexion is not a provider. We are an independent technician service, and you pay for each visit. A technician comes to your home in Paris or the inner suburbs, finds out why your internet or WiFi is not working, and repairs it: internet box, WiFi or fibre connection, whichever provider you have.
We do not manage your subscription or your bill. That stays with your provider.
How does it work? 3 steps

Which problems can we repair?
The most common ones, in simple words. Each card links to a detailed guide, written in French.
The box does not switch on
No light at all on the box. Our guide lists what to check, in order, starting with the plugs.
Read the guide (in French) →WiFi connected, but no internet
Your phone or laptop shows a WiFi connection, but web pages do not load.
Read the guide (in French) →Slow or weak WiFi
Videos freeze, calls break up, or the signal is weak in some rooms of your home.
Read the guide (in French) →Internet keeps cutting out
The connection drops several times a day, or at the same time every evening.
Read the guide (in French) →Red or blinking lights on the box
What a light means depends on your provider and on the model of your box.
Read the guide (in French) →The fibre box (ONT)
On some fibre set-ups there is a small extra box next to the internet box, often called an ONT. Orange's help pages for several Livebox models ask you to check that its power and fibre lights are on.

Contacting your provider from abroad or in French
Sometimes the right call is to your provider, for example when there is an outage in your area. Provider websites and help pages are in French, so here is some help.
1. Find out who your provider is
Look at your contract, at your monthly bill (facture) or at the welcome email you received when you subscribed. The name of the box also tells you:
- Livebox is Orange's box. Sosh internet plans also come with an Orange Livebox.
- SFR box is SFR's box.
- Freebox is Free's box.
- Bbox is Bouygues Telecom's box.
Find your provider's support number on its official website. If you are calling from a foreign phone, check the website for the number to use.
2. Check for an outage first
If nothing works at home, find out whether your provider reports an outage in your area. Our guides explain which official tools to use:
- Orange outage check (in French)
- SFR outage check (in French)
- Free outage check (in French)
- Bouygues Telecom outage check (in French)

Frequently asked questions
Are you my internet provider (Orange, SFR, Free or Bouygues)?
No. SOS Connexion is an independent, paid repair service. We are not Orange, SFR, Free or Bouygues Telecom, and we do not manage your subscription or your bill. We come to your home to find out why your internet or WiFi is not working, and we repair what can be repaired there.
How much does a visit cost, and when do I pay?
The price is a flat fee: 120 € incl. VAT (TTC) from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 6 pm, and 150 € incl. VAT (TTC) after 6 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays. Businesses pay 200 € excl. VAT (HT). Travel, diagnosis and repair are included. You pay after the visit, once you have checked that your connection works, and if the problem is not solved you pay nothing. If a spare part is needed (this is rare), it is quoted before any work and billed separately.
Which areas do you cover?
Paris and the inner suburbs: the Hauts-de-Seine (92), Seine-Saint-Denis (93) and Val-de-Marne (94) departments. We are available seven days a week, from 7 am to 9 pm.
How do I contact you, and what should I tell you?
Contact us on WhatsApp at +33 6 08 40 31 05, or call the same number (06 08 40 31 05 from a French phone). Describe the problem in a few words: when it started, what the lights on your box look like, which provider you have if you know it, and the district or address of your home. A photo of the box can help.
What if the problem comes from my provider's network?
If there is a wider outage in your area, only your provider can fix it, so check its official outage information first (our guides in French explain which official tools to use for Orange, SFR, Free and Bouygues Telecom). If your provider says all is well on its side but your connection still does not work, contact us. If your provider needs to intervene, we guide you through the steps.
